This year we are proud to announce that it's our 15th edition of StetiMUN. Big things are coming!

StetiMUN (Szczecin Model United Nations) is a Model United Nations conference where students simulate UN debates, representing different countries and discussing global issues.
StetiMUN has been held annually in Szczecin, Poland for 15 years now. It is organised in II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Mieszka by its students. This year, the conference will take place between 20 - 22 November.
The conference is organised for Highschool students, who can participate as Delegates or Chairs.
The official language of StetiMUN is formal English. All debates, speeches, and resolutions must be conducted that way. Even during breaks, we highly recommend English, as not all of the people use native language.
StetiMUN lasts for three days between Thursday and Saturday. The first day starts with the Opening Ceremony and the First Session of the General Assembly. Then the Participants start to work in their committees and they do it for the rest of the day as well as the whole Friday. The last day is the day, when the Delegates vote on the written resolutions during the Second Session of the General Assembly, and later on the Closing Ceremony happens.
Registration is done online via MyMUN platform (you can find the link on the home page). Prospective participants - either Chairs or Delegates need to fill out a form and then pay the Delegate/Chair fee only if they are already accepted for the conference.
Yes, there is a fee to cover conference materials, food costs, and other expenses. The exact amount for this year is 55€.
The registration deadline is different for Chairs and Delegates. Chair applications last between 24.02 - 04.05 and the Delegate applications are happening from 02.06 to 31.10
Topics are chosen by the Chairs with the acceptance from the Secretariat based on current global issues. Topics are announced before the conference so the Delegates could prepare properly for the conference.
Delegates can usually indicate their preferences, but final country assignments are made by the Secretariat based on availability and balance.
Delegates should research their assigned country’s position and policy, write a position paper, and prepare opening speeches if they are the Ambassadors of the Security Council or policy statements if they are Delegates in different committees.
No, both beginners and experienced delegates are welcome. However, we highly recommend familiarizing yourself with MUN rules, especially Rules of Procedure before attending.
The dress code is western business attire, meaning suits for men and equivalent professional attire for women.
Delegates draft resolutions during committee sessions, debate them, and vote to decide whether they pass. The final resolution is presented on the General Assembly and voted by the whole Quorum. Situation is slightly different in the Security Council as the Ambassadors vote on the resolution in the committee and it is only presented on the General Assembly.
Yes, all delegates receive a certificate of participation, and awards may be given to outstanding delegates.
